The unfolding of the festival
The VII^th edition of the ART AIUD photo and film international festival is taking place in Aiud, between the 21^ts- 23^rd of October 2011.

Participation Rules
People from all over the world are invited to participate with photos and short movies.

Participation Conditions
The festival is open to all, regardless of the participants' age or professional training. The participants can apply with 3-5 photos or/and 1-2 short films.

The authors of the photos/ films will receive documentations about the festival. In order for the artists to receive the documentations, it is important that they write down a valid address on the application form. The participant's contact information is confidential and will not be made public without the participant's permission (the application form can be downloaded from the festival homepage: www.art-aiud.com).

Technical Specifications
1. Photo section
   - Technique: photography
      - Every participant can send up to 3-5 works (black and/or white/color),
      - The works:         
            - digital photos, 1600x1200 pixels minimum, to be sent in JPG format; 
            - classical photos: send original photos
It is forbidden for the artist's name, homepage or other information to be mentioned on the photo. This information will be specified in the application form and will be displayed next to the photo.

2. Video section
      - Technique: video;
      - Every participant can send 1 or 2 films (black and/or white/ color)
      - Duration of the films: up to 10 min.
      - Theme: free
      - Sections:
                  - experimental art
                  - documentary
                  - short film
      - Materials will be sent in a DVD format

Application deadline
The application form can be downloaded from the festival website www.art-aiud.com ; or you can request it at: info@art-aiud.com
The photographs and the movies will be sent to the address:

We accept digital photograps also by email. Please send to info@art-aiud.com (with the application form).

Deadline for sending the works: 1^st October 2011 (arrival date of the works)

Selecting the works
A professional jury will select the works to enter the final exhibition. The list of selected works will be posted on the festival webpage: www.art-aiud.com 

Diplomas
The selected participants will receive the documentation of the festival from the organizers.

The authors of the selected photos who email they works (in digital format) will receive also by  email (the email address specified in the registration form) documentation about the festival.

 Use of materials, copyright
The works participating in this festival must abide by copyright regulations. The participants must own all the rights to the works entering this competition. The participants agree with their works being displayed on the following sites: art-aiud.com, aiudonline.ro, aiud-art.ro and inter-art.ro, as well as within the events organized by the "Liviu Rebreanu" Cultural Center and the "Inter-Art" Foundation, Aiud. The authors hold the copyright for their works.

Confidentiality
All the personal data of the participants are confidential. Details concerning the participants can only be used for the proper functioning of the festival.

 Final Clauses
By taking part in this festival, the participant confirms having read and therefore understood the above-mentioned provisions. The works that do not respect these provisions will be disqualified. The organizers will not give back the art works received.
